CDL named most sustainable real-estate company in the world

City Developments Limited is a Singapore listed property group. It has been ranked as the 22nd most sustainable corporation in the world list for 2024. The first Singapore company ever to appear on the Global 100 list 15 years in a row.

CDL was also Singapore’s most environmentally friendly company for the sixth year in a row. It jumped up from 28th to the 22nd place after improving in such areas as energy, water, and greenhouse gas productivity, ESG linked remuneration for management, talent retention and attraction, and a sustainability supply chain.

Corporate Knights of Toronto, an investment research and media firm, has analysed and ranked over 6,700 businesses with revenues over US$1 Billion. Each company was assessed using publicly-available information, based on 25 ESG indicator relative to industry peers.
