Kranji Primary School is the second primary school in Tengah to be opened after Pioneer Primary School in 2026. Anglo Chinese School (Primary), which will open in 2030, will also join them.

MK@Kranji (MOE Kindergarten) will also share the site after moving from Chua Chu Kang.

Kranji Primary, MK@Kranji and MK@Kranji are expected to stop accepting Primary 1 or Kindergarten 1 students in 2025. Both schools will remain open until their current students graduate. Kranji Primary should close by 2029. MK@Kranji, however, will continue to operate until end-2025.

Outram Secondary School, currently located in York Hill, will move to Sengkang. The school will not accept any new Secondary 1 students until 2026, in order to minimise disruption. It will run two campuses until its last Secondary 4 graduates in 2027.

There will be a MK at the Tampines North primary school. It is expected to start operations in 2029. Exact details will be revealed at a future date.

The new campus of Bukit View primary school in Bukit batok West is expected to open by 2028.

MOE constantly reviews its plans to place schools and MKs in order to meet the demand for school places and preschool places throughout Singapore.
